That’s right, a whole month of celebrating our favorite plant foods and all the amazing flavors and feelings associated with eating and enjoying fruits and vegetables!
There are many ways to celebrate, but here are my top 3 favorite ways:
1. Make a Smoothie –
When it comes to smoothies, there’s no exact science. Whatever ingredients your heart desires — that’s the correct recipe. Add as many fruits and veggies as possible, and treat yourself to a snack that has infinite varieties.
2. Eat a Rainbow of Flavors-
Colorful fruits and vegetables provide a wide range of vitamins, minerals, and phytochemicals your body needs to maintain good health and energy levels. Each color range provides your body with different nutrients, so it is important to eat a rainbow of color at every meal!
3. Be Adventurous-
There are countless varieties of fruits and vegetables, so if apples and bananas don’t cut it for you, expand your palette and try something new. There could be more delicious options out there you’re just not familiar with – get adventurous the next time you go grocery shopping or search the web for a new recipe!
